I suppose that since this is my blog, I don’t really need to defend my sporadic blogging habits. But I’m going to do it anyway.
I’ve been interested in writing since my early high school years (Xanga, anybody?). I’ve probably had 15 different blogs throughout my life. Some were angsty teen blogs. Some were professional. Sometimes I would chronicle a trip (usually only for the first two or three days, because that’s how that goes). Sometimes I would post pictures. I did a book review once.
You see the pattern? No? Me either. Because there isn’t one. I haven’t been diagnosed with ADD, but WebMD (sorry, Dr. Mom) has me believin’ that I probably have it.
Anyway. It probably doesn’t help that I’ve had a venti coffee with an extra shot of espresso. While I support “going local,” there is a Starbucks with a drive-thru on my way to both jobs (darn you, corporate deliciousness!) and I had a long day yesterday. Hence, coffee. I digress.
What am I talking about?
Oh, right. Blogging. Sometimes I have things to say. Sometimes I don’t. So maybe I’ll keep this blog updated, but let’s be real, I’ll probably write for a few weeks, forget it exists for a couple months, and then remember that I have things to say and come back and the vicious cycle will continue forever.
And there is nothing wrong with that.
Wow, I’ve had a lot of coffee.
